About Mike Hager

I'm Mike Hager, a CPA with over 20 years in finance experience and roughly a decade working alongside early-stage life sciences teams. I've helped founders through the moments that matter most — standing up their first real financial systems, raising seed and Series A capital, capturing non-dilutive funding, and getting audit-ready for institutional investors.


I started this practice because early-stage founders deserve financial leadership that understands both the balance sheet and the science — without having to give up a full-time salary and equity to get it. When you're spending years and millions before your first dollar of revenue, you need a finance partner who already speaks your language and can help you make every month of runway count.
